ReelFutures is where the next generation of filmmakers takes the spotlight. Formerly known as the Port Shorts Young Filmmaker Awards, this youth-focused film festival is a launchpad for bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and raw talent.

Whether you’re into short films, animation, music videos, or experimental works, Reel Futures is your chance to show the world what you’ve got.

* Festival Night: Friday, September 12, 2025 – Live event at the Clink Theatre, Port Douglas
